Yamaha YZF-R6 Sport Bike
Yamaha bikes are graded high both on looks as well as on performance.
Yamaha YZF R6 is the new add on made to the existing list of Yamaha bikes. The bike is set incorporated with 599cc liquid-cooled inline 4-cylinder which is further accompanied by DOHC, 16 titanium valves. The bike has 6-speed w/multiplate slipper clutch that has added to its usability. Bikers are sure to love this bike model for this quality.
Its suspension rear is single shock having a four-way adjustable quality. Front brakes have dual 310mm floating disc whereas the radial-mount 4-piston calipers are some simple add-ons. The feature sound updated which is why bikers are getting more and more over its possession. The bike feature transistor controlled ignition that has made it gain a count above other similar bike models standing in the market.
This bike has a 2000 rpm higher than the earlier R6 model. Also, it has the highest tachometer redline with a four-stroke motorcycle engine. The customers are happy to get a ride over it as their biking experience is revitalized. It has dramatic and eye catching looks.
You can think to buy Yamaha YZF R6 as this latest bike model is incorporated with the YCC-I variable-length intake system which is therefore set helpful to optimize power at high engine rpm. Also, it has an improved Deltabox frame that adds glamour to its design and structure.

BMW HP2 Sport Motorcycle
The BWM HP2 Sport is the latest iteration of the Bavarian Motor Company's foray into producing performance driven motorcycles. The quiet, staid, and lets just admit it boring motorcycles that came out of BMW in years past is history.
The HP line is BMW's new high performance, cutting edge line up. It's the motorcycle equivalent of their M line of performance cars.
The HP2 Sport is the third motorcycle in the HP line following the releases of the HP2 Enduro and the HP2 Megamoto.
The HP-2 Sport is based on the R1200S but is out and out designed for sports riders who are looking for a machine that has performance as well as endurance.
The HP2 Sport keeps some of the concepts that BMW motorcycles have become known for such as the BMW Motorrad Telelever front suspension and the EVO Paralever rear suspension. Other components have been newly developed or highly modified for use in the motorcycle.
The HP-2 Sport is powered by a twin Boxer motor that has a capacity of 1170 cc. The engine's cylinder heads were completely redesigned which allows the engine to rev as high as 9500 rpm. The engine has a 101 mm bore and a 73 mm stroke and produces a maximum of 130 hp at 8,750 rpm and 85 lb-ft of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The bike has a close ratio six speed gear box, with first and second gear having higher ratios. This puts the gear increments closer to each other and results in less of a rev drop when progressing up through the gears.
The bike also has a gear shift assistant which allows the rider to shift gears without using the clutch. It works by sensing when the gear lever is activated. If it senses gear lever activation without the use of the clutch, it electronically reduces power to the engine which puts the engine in a low load state and makes it possible to shift without the clutch. If the rider uses the clutch, the system becomes inactive.

SELECT BEST MOTORCYCLE FOR YOUThe most common question I hear is "What's the best bike?"
It's easy when you only have one choice, like Ural in the former Soviet Union. But here, in the land of opportunities and freedom, you've definitely got much more to choose from. There are over 300 motorcycle models you can consider!
Whether you're new to motorcycles or you've been a rider for a long time, you have to do your research first. Look online, in the magazines, read reviews, look at the visual appeal, specifications. If you're a new rider, don't pick an expensive motorbike or a big motorcycle. If it's too big, it might be too hard for you to handle.
If you are a beginner rider, don't fall for the expensive and loud Harley-Davidson motorcycle. While these cruisers are extremely popular, this is definitely not the bike you want to start with. I wouldn't recommend you starting with a sport bike either, unless you are mature enough to handle the power of the sport bike. Consider starting with a used standard motorcycle or even a scooter.
Go to your local motorcycle dealer and work with him to help you in selecting that best bike for you. Sit down on the model you picked, and make sure you're legs are not dragging on the ground. A good dealer will have truly knowledgeable sales people. First, they should be riders themselves. Second, they should be able to answer any and all technical questions. You're not looking for a salesman; you're looking for an adviser.
Now you know what kind of bike you want, think about the price and whether you can spend the money for a new motorbike or you'll be happy with a used one.

Yamaha FZ8 StreetFighter Gallery and Informations
That many anticipated FZ8 and Yamaha Super Tenere Yamaha sales will occur this summer according to the Yamaha.
Yamaha working hard to promote both bike with heavy-disguised picture showing the parts of both motorcycles and a new silhouette that shows Super Tenere Yamaha R1-style headlight.
Yamaha officially launched the headlights of the FZ8 a few weeks ago but no further information came from Yamaha officially.
A Yamaha insider said: "FZ8 will appear at the end of this year together with Super Tenere that would be a good thing to boost interest in the new bike and the bike is expected to generate some significant sales in 2010."
No official estimated FZ8 has a smaller capacity four-cylinder version of the 998cc motor FZ1 - itself based on the five-valve Yamaha R1 engine from the year 2005.
FZ8 will replace the smaller capacity as a sporty model FZ6 naked middleweight, leaving the XJ6, XJ6 Diversion, and the new-for-2010 F XJ6 Diversion to satisfy beginners and versatile market.
This is the main rival will F800R BMW, Honda Hornet 600, Triumph Street Triple R and Aprilia shiver 750.
Super Tenere boxy silhouette shows off-road-style panniers, reinforcing evidence that the Yamaha bike will go head-to-head with BMW for the R1200GS, it does not involve more road-biased Ducati new Multistrada 1200.
Super Tenere technical highlights we already know about are:
- 3-mode ABS
- Shaft drive
- Associated brake
- Switchable engine maps
- Ride-by-wire throttle
- Traction control
- Side-mounted radiators

Motorcycle nuts ICON Motorsports makes an interesting observation about their Warthog bike, inspired by the USAF's A-10 ground attack fighters, who share the same nickname: "Of course the first thing that grabbed one's attention is the 800-watt MTX audio system." Well, of course, was impressive - but I think the minigun attached to the front of the 'first cycle caught my eye. That, and it's hard to miss that whole thing into nine decal'd with ammunition. But I'm sure that there was a killer audio system, too.
Warthog doing everything that can be seen significant and rapid, and has some additional, crazy frills, like an 8-inch LCD screen "to see Full Metal Jacket, Iron Eagle or Top Gun and the ability to broadcast the views of victims leave back through an integrated rear view camera. "
Worried you will not be able to rock like the Warthog bike? Well, a helmet that fits should give you the confidence you need. Check out the gallery below for more than Icon Warthog, and click through for video of the bike in action.

EICMA cafe racer in 2009 BMW Concept 6
BMW introduced the concept of inline six-cylinder EICMA cafe racer in 2009 shows in Milan, Italy.
Inline-six engine has a point in the BMW cars for decades and the German motorcycle manufacturer division to take the challenge to match a straight six and a bike without making too long or too wide. The result is the BMW Motorrad Concepts 6, and an evolution of BMW says "will expand the K-Series in the near future".
6 The concept of the machine is about four inches slimmer than the production of the BMW inline-six engine, so only a little wider than a large capacity four. To keep down the wide, the machine has a relatively long stroke with a very small gap between the cylinders. Ancillaries and components of electric vehicles are behind them on the crankshaft and transmission to minimize the width of the machine further.
BMW engineers also tried to keep the weight low by using hollow-drilled camshafts and light connecting rods. The engine’s weight is also distributed so that a balance shaft and its drive elements are not necessary.
Like the straight-four in the K1300 series, the Concept 6’s engine is tilted forward 55 degrees for added balance and a low center of gravity. The tilted engine also provides space for an aerodynamically positioned intake manifold above the engine.
The Concept 6’s engine uses dry sump lubrication, keeping the crankcase low and flat. Without an oil sump, the engine can be placed lower in the frame than otherwise.
According to BMW, the six-cylinder engine produces power in the same range as its 1.3-liter straight four engines. The difference will be in the torque, which will be comparable to the largest motorcycle engines. BMW says will be the six-cylinder will offer 96 ft-lb. at 2,000 rpm with revs reaching nearly 9,000 rpm.
BMW describes the Concept 6 as a mix of classic and modern styling and an evolution of the café racer.
The “split face” design element found in other BMW bikes such as the S1000RR divides the Concept 6 into three sections, extending from the front of the fairing to the carbon-fiber fuel tank. LED headlights further accentuate the split face element.
Suspension is built around a light-alloy bridge frame with Duolever and Paralever arms for both front and rear. The 17-inch HP forged wheels are equipped with an extra-large brake system using six-piston fixec calipers.
The instrument panel uses a minimalist design without a rev counter. BMW says the rev counter was intentionally omitted because the engine produces a “supreme flow of power at all speeds”. Instead of a displaying the revs, the LED display shows how much torque is available.
